For Wednesday, May 8th, 2024-

• All parents and students, please join us next Friday May 17th at 12:15pm, for an ice cream dessert as we give our regards and say thank you to Pastor Ladner for his time served faithfully in the ministry and as a teacher here at West and to Dr. Decker for her years of service as a teacher here at West.

• Rehearsal for all Fine Arts students(Choirs & Band) at 12:30 on 5/17/24. All students not involved in the rehearsal will have an early release at 12:30 after lunch is served. This is also the last day of school for seniors.

• Senior Decision Day - Thursday, May 9th from 9:15-10:30am

  • See you all on Thursday for donuts, coffee, & celebration of your senior!

  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) are encouraged to wear apparel that is representative of their students' decision.

• 2024 Prom

  • The 2024 Prom will be held on Friday May 10th (no school that day), please see the parent handout for details on event schedule.

• West Lutheran Showcase-

  • Join us for a showcase of talent from our musicians, singers, and artists at West Lutheran on Sunday, May 19th at 2:00PM.

  • Enjoy the free concert and tour the art show gallery in this end of year celebration!

• West Lutheran Fine Arts Booster Club

• The remaining 2023-2024 and the upcoming 2024-2025 School Academic Calendar is now available online through the school website or your FACTS Family Portal.

• The Wise Penny/WLHS Pitch-In Days Event is a multi-day volunteer event held at WLHS May 29-31. The purpose is to provide add'l opportunities for WLHS families to complete 2023-24 volunteer hours and/or work ahead on 2024-25 hours by bringing Wise Penny volunteer tasks onsite at WLHS.

  • Volunteer shift details: Several types of volunteer tasks are available. Please read the task description before signing up:

  • -- NHS & Ambassadors: use sign-up spots designated for your group!

  • --SIGN UP for a separate slot for EACH PERSON in your group (2 people=2 spots)

  • --Daytime shifts are 4 hours

  • --Evening shifts options of 2 hours: 4-6 pm and 6-8 pm (you can sign up for both 2-hour shifts)

  • --Volunteers must be 9th grade or older. Parents/grandparents welcome!

  • --Limit of 4 hours/day per volunteer

Athletics/Activities:

New Concession Volunteer Opportunities!

Greetings Warrior Athletic Families!

We have some new shifts available to help with concessions at baseball games. Come out to enjoy some Spring weather and watch the games while serving concessions outside! As a reminder, all athletic families are asked to fulfill volunteer shifts. These proceeds go back to the Warrior booster fund which will allow for continued improvements in Warrior athletic teams and clubs.
