MCIS

What is it? The Counseling Department is excited to start utilizing this system that is internet-based and offers a wealth of career, educational and labor market information in one comprehensive, easy-to-use tool. 

 

What does it include? MCIS includes: Learning styles, employability, interest and skill assessments and information on colleges, and program requirements for various occupations. Starting in 9th grade during Group Guidance (large meeting with students & counselor), students will build a portfolio, so they can plan and track progress toward their educational goals and create a personal learning plan.

 

When can this website be accessed? Students will be required to complete grade appropriate assessments and activities during Group Guidance sessions, but are highly encouraged to explore the website and all the resources it has to offer at any time.
