West Lutheran students have the opportunity to participate in the following:
• Concert Band (9th-12th Grade, non-audition, previous experience encouraged, some non-traditional instruments welcome, co-curricular)
• Ensembles (9th-12th Grade, meets during band, extracurricular)
• Drum Line (9th-12th Grade, meets during band, extracurricular)
• Pep Band (9th-12th Grade, meets during band, extracurricular)
Additional Music Opportunities:
• Piano Playing (chapel and/or choir accompanists)
• Chapel Band (guitars, vocals, and percussion performing contemporary Christian music)
• Choral / Band Festival (student nomination and selection process)
• Piano/Organ/Voice/Instrument Lessons (during school hours, outside teacher for a fee)
Choirs:
• Freshman Choir (required as part of Fundamentals of Music Class, co-curricular)
• Concert Choir (10th-12th Grade, non-audition, co-curricular)
• Accents (9th-12th Grade, audition choir, meets outside of school, tours, extracurricular)
