The students at West Lutheran High School have a chance to participate in student government activities through student council. The student council is responsible for setting up activities that enhance student life. Each class elects two members for representation. Three additional members are appointed from the National Honor society as honorary members.  In addition the student body elects the exectutive board which is comprised of the treasurer, secretary, vice-president, and president. The student council advisors are Adam Wiechmann and Phil Meitner.
