The mission of

West has established a first-rate athletic department that is dedicated to teaching Christian character development through the pursuit of competitive excellence. West Lutheran High School football offers young men the opportunity to use their talents to glorify God, learn football skills, make solid friendships, and learn about competitive sports at a JV and varsity level. Our football program fulfills our mission statement  by permeating even our football program to glorify God.While we strive to win our athletic contests our coaching staff makes sure that # 1 stays # 1, that is that we use our time and talent to the glory of God. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

West is a member of the Minnesota State High School League and the Minnesota Christian Athletic League.
