What Is P-FOW?

Our school has been blessed by the work of many hands and willing hearts. Parents and Friends of West is a group of individuals who perform “acts of kindness” for West Lutheran’s students and staff. A meeting is held annually at the beginning of the school year to set a plan of action for the year. A budget is discussed at this time, as well as the school needs and how PFOW can assist in these endeavors.

If you are interested in finding out more information about P-FOW and their activities, please attend the annual meeting which will be September 21 at 6:30pm for the 2011-2012 school year.  This year's meeting will include:

• Servings of the auction dessert: Pineapple Upside Down cake and Kona coffee at the meeting.  Kona coffee will also be served.
• Updates of the fine arts and athletics departments
• Special talk by Marty Nelson (baseball coach) on how he kept his players grounded while ranked #1 in state for multiple weeks earlier this year.
