Advanced Mathematics with Mr. Jensen
The seniors have just started a unit on Probability and Statistics. After re-learning the many formulas involved, the class will be looking at real-world situations and developing plans to promote or reinforce their situation. In the past, we have had students develop a plan for buying a house, trending athletic teams, investing money, and even planning possible future budgets.
Spanish I with Pastor Nietzel
In Spanish I, students will be making their own entertainment guide in which they will be including such events as concerts, plays, movies, restaurants, museum and art gallery exhibits, events for children and sporting events. Photos and graphics are encouraged. The guide may be formatted like a folded brochure, a small poster or a magazine page. Students are asked to be as creative as possible and will include brief descriptions of what each event is about using Spanish vocabulary only
