The Canteen, located in the lobby of West Lutheran High School, provides concessions for the athletic events held at the school. For the 2008-2009 school year, West received over $8,000 through canteen sales which helped purchase non-budgeted items for the school.
The success of this fundraising opportunity is of result of the hard work of the canteen committee along with parent volunteers. Parents of ALL students are asked to volunteer a bit of their time in this opportunity to support West.
For the 2009-2010 schoole year, canteen workers and ticket sellers are needed during home basketball games and weekend tournaments. A signup sheet will be posted at the Spaghetti Supper and during parent/teacher conferences. Please sign up during one of these events. Since all students benefit from the sales at the canteen, parents who have not signed up in advance will be assigned a time slot. The schedule will be sent out prior to the first home basketball game.
There is also a need for those interested in helping on a more frequent basis as part of the Canteen committee. Please call either of the coordinators to volunteer or if you have any questions.
